Mason has now been to his 1st ever Clemson game, aside from when he was still in mom's belly ;-)! We were given tickets in the lower deck on the 45 yard line AND in the shade + Uncle Wesley could come = we couldn't pass up going, even if we knew Mason may not make it very long. We were prepared with fans, drinks, snacks, toys, lots of milk ;-), earmuffs, hat, & sunscreen. Whew!
He did... awesome! We are spoiled with this sweet, happy, adorable little boy. Even with 95 degree weather, super loud stadium & no nap, he was so good. After the half time show by SC State, which we all know is the best, he was SO tired & ready to get back in his carseat for a long nap. The score by that point was Clemson 34 SC State 0, so we were fine leaving & ready for some AC, too! It was a little bit surreal to be back in Death Valley, where we spent so many Saturdays at students, but be there this time holding our son & enjoying the game from a different season of life. It was the best!
