Yesterday, we drove up to Camp Greenville and Caesars Head State Park. Caesars Head is just before Camp Greenville, so we headed to Pretty Place first to see the chapel and view. We got there at the perfect time! A 30 minute slot in between 2 weddings- the only time yesterday that the chapel was briefly open to the public. We both agreed the couples getting married yesterday were having the most perfect weather you could ever ask for on wedding day- Sunny, 72, and completely clear to see the amazing view. This is one of the best views we have ever seen- We could not believe how far you could look out and see in the distance.
After that we headed down a little bit to Caesars Head where we stopped to have our lunch and just enjoy the overlook. This view was just as amazing as the one from Pretty Place, if not better. From the overlook you can see Table Rock- where we have hiked many times and sat and had lunch. I never knew we were looking directly at another state park, but next time we hike to the top of Table Rock we will be checking it out to see if we can see Caesars Head from there. We had the best morning and couldn't have asked for better weather!
