Thank you

Thank you.

Thank you Lord for keeping us in the palm of your hand, loving on us, wrapping us so tight in your arms, giving us hope when we wanted to give up, blessing us with the greatest family & friends to support us, reminding us every moment of your presence, having the greatest plan for our lives, teaching & growing us in this season of life, being the greatest father and Savior even when we don't deserve it and most of all for loving on our sweet Emerson Iris until we get there, too.

Thank you to my husband for being the rock of our family & dealing with the "hard stuff" I couldn't bear to face. For going to the funeral home & making Emerson's arrangements, signing papers, taking calls when I couldn't, visiting with people when I couldn't, holding me while I cried & wiping away the tears + assuring me we are going to be OK. Thank you for being the greatest best friend, even when I already thought you couldn't possibly get any better ;-) I love you more than you will ever ever know and that is such an understatement.

Thank you to our sweet baby boy. You bring light to the darkest of days and moments. We have always been thankful for you every single day of your life, but extra extra thankful for you during this season. You are such a joy. You will never know how much you helped us get thought the last few weeks and will continue to help us in the months and years ahead. We love you more than you will ever ever know, Mase.

Thank you to all the hospital staff & our Doctor. You loved & treated us so well during that 12 hours at the hospital on July 16. You were there for the hardest time in our whole lives and you handled it with such care and kindness. There are no words for how thankful we are to you for taking care of us that day; for anyone who ever wondered why we drive 40 minutes to our Dr & hospital in Anderson...this is exactly why. We are forever grateful for all of you & the care you provide.

Thank you to our families who have loved us SO well during this time. To my parents for staying with us, cleaning, cooking, grocery shopping, keeping Mason, and SO much more. To the rest of our family, immediate and extended, for bringing us food, calling, texting, sending flowers & care packages with the most thoughtful of gifts, and most of all for praying over us. We are so thankful for all our family and incredibly blessed to have you all by our side. You have let us know every day that you are thinking and praying for us & we appreciate it more than you know.

Thank you to our friends...for the calls, texts, emails, absolutely beautiful flowers, chocolates, fruit baskets, so many beautiful gifts, and again, most of all for your prayers. Thank you to those who shared such personal experiences with us to let us know we are not alone. Thank you to those who text every single day to let us know we've not been forgotten. Thank you for cooking meals for us & not to mention, signing up for meals through September! How blessed we are to have each and every one of you in our lives. The Lord is good & gives the best gifts, each of you!

It's a long road ahead, but we are thankful to have each of you by our sides.

Thank you.

Mac, Elizabeth & Mason <3
