Whew, where did his first year ago?!? We officially filled the last box in his monthly growth pictures and how fun it is to look through them and see how he grew each month! Although, he had no idea what all the excitement was over this day we called a "birthday", he loved playing at the park, spending time with family, all the attention, & of course new toys! We did lunch and playing on the park with some family & a few friends at Runway Cafe to celebrate and though it was a bit windy, we were glad for the sunshine and warmer weather than we have had lately! We are so grateful for all our family & friends who came & celebrated with us. Thank you!
We really cannot believe this big guy is 1 year old and already on to another year. This past one has been SO much fun, we really can't even imagine how much more fun we are going to have in years to come. We love you so so so much Mason!!! xoxo
During this months...
- size 3 diapers (I think I may wear these until I'm potty trained)
- still drinking breastmilk - WE MET OUR GOAL! hooray (& Thanks mom!) haha ;-)
- size 12, 12-18 & 18-24 month clothes
- started the month on my birthday with 3 teeth & ended it with 6 by February 10! Have both top middle teeth, bottom middle & lateral incisors. My parents didn't even know they had broken through bc I was still my happy, normal self!
- Learned to walk at 10 months old & now I'm getting into running!
- I could live outside...really. I love to go to the park, go on walks (I climb in the stroller on my own & wait for someone to get the hint) play outside with my dogs & I cry when my mommy & daddy make me come inside.
- I told my bottle "Good-bye" & had no problem letting it go. I love my weighted straw cup...
(moms & dads...this cup has been aaaaamazing! strongely recommend- we started giving him it at meal time with his milk in it at around 6 months old & he has loved it- he had no problem giving his bottle up bc he already loved this thing so much)

- love to eat anything & everything now that I can have dairy. I like chicken pot pie, rice, all kinds of fruit, banana bread is my favorite, pumpkin bread, eggs, french toast, & the list goes on & on!
- love story time at the library and playing with my friends at church
- know some animal sounds & my favorite is doggy barks
- can sit at the window at watch my dogs for an hour (literally)
- love love love music & dance whenever it is on & have since I was a little guy!
- don't care for TV
- will let anyone hold me, not shy at all
- learned to throw a fit when i'm told no, usually consists of throwing down whatever i'm holding & making the most pitiful face- somehow my parents don't ever feel bad for me??? ;-)
- can blow kisses & give kisses & it's the cutest thing you ever saw
- love to read...the first 2 pages that is...then i'm off to another book
- bedtime is still 630/7 & my daddy says i'm "the most reliable alarm clock he ever had" waking up at 645 every morning- good thing my parents are morning people
